PSG To Pursue Transfer For Cristiano Ronaldo

May 30, 2018 1:39 PM

Paris Saint-Germain plan on pursuing a transfer for Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

PSG will offer Ronaldo a net salary of €45 million ($52.5 million), which would rival what Lionel Messi earns with Barcelona.

Ronaldo has a €1 billion release clause in his current contract with Real Madrid and PSG will not exceed a transfer fee of €150 million.

PSG must also comply with Financial Fair Play in order to sign Ronaldo while keeping Neymar and Kylian Mbappe as they intend.

Robert Lewandowski Formally Requests Transfer From Bayern

May 30, 2018 11:21 AM

Robert Lewandowski has asked to leave Bayern Munich this summer.

Lewandowski has scored 151 goals in 195 matches since joining Bayern from Borussia Dortmund in 2014.

Agent Pini Zahavi played a key role in Neymar's transfer from Barcelona to PSG.

"Robert feels as if he needs a change and a new challenge in his career," he told Sport Bild. "Bayern's bosses have been informed.

"Money or a specific club are not Robert's motivation for a move, as almost every top club would like to have the best striker in the world in their ranks."

Cristiano Ronaldo Considering All Options

May 29, 2018 10:49 AM

Cristiano Ronaldo is uncertain about his future with Real Madrid and is considering all options.

A decision is unlikely to be reached until after the World Cup.

Florentino Perez said that Ronaldo remains under contract at the club for three more years still after the final.

Ronaldo is seeking a contract extension as he makes less than Lionel Messi and Neymar. Real Madrid has also been linked with a move for Neymar.

Ongoing tax issues for Ronaldo and other La Liga based clients of his agent Jorge Mendes have also complicated the situation.

Cristiano Ronaldo Puts Future With Real Madrid In Doubt

May 27, 2018 10:32 AM

Cristiano Ronaldo put his future with Real Madrid into doubt following their Champions League Final victory over Liverpool.

"Now is the time to enjoy this," Ronaldo said on television after the game in Kiev, Ukraine. "And in the coming days you will have my answer to the fans, the ones who have really been on my side. It has been very nice being at Real Madrid."

Told that it sounded like he was saying goodbye, Ronaldo said: "In the coming days you will have my answer. Now we must just enjoy this moment. The future of one player is not important. We have made history."

Ronaldo attempted to clarify his comments but stood by his original remarks that he could leave Real Madrid.

"I am not saying I am going, in the coming days we will see," he said. "They took something out of context, that I should not have said. I did not know it would be so strong. I prefer not to talk and to enjoy this lovely moment to the maximum.

"I didn't want to say that, but I'm not sorry either. These are situations which have been coming a long time and you put up with it, but sometimes you lose control. Things are not fixed with money, I have that, that is not a problem for me.

"I cannot guarantee that I will stay at Real Madrid, but this is not the moment to talk, as Madrid have made history, but neither am I going to hide. It is difficult to be at a better place than Madrid, the best club in the world, but life is not just about glory."

United Seeks Summer Transfer For Toby Alderweireld

May 21, 2018 3:18 PM

Manchester United is targeting a summer transfer for Toby Alderweireld of Tottenham Hotspur.

Alderweireld is said to be open to a move to United.

Alderweireld's contract expires in 2020 and discussions over an extension have stalled.

Daniel Levy could seek a fee that exceeds the £75 million Liverpool paid Southampton for Virgil van Dijk in January.

Alderweireld would fit into the profile of the experienced player Jose Mourinho wishes to add as he seeks to challenge Manchester City next season.
